Have a picnic or take a slow stroll. Relax in solitude or invite a friend - the gardens are yours to enjoy Tuesday through Thursday from 12PM - 7PM. Children ages 9 & under enter the gardens for free - no ticket purchase necessary. Please show your email confirmation upon arrival for admission to the Gardens. Confirmation emails acts as ticket, no physical ticket will be shipped.
Are you a member?
Due to increased interest in garden memberships, we are requiring that all members book their visits ahead of time. A promo code will be sent upon membership purchase that can be used at checkout to ensure that your day visit remains free. This change in policy allows for us to prepare for your visit while also allowing us to preserve the tranquil garden experience by limiting over-crowding. Please note that if you fail to reserve your ticket ahead of time, we may not be able to accommodate your visit to the gardens.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Lija Diem
Back in 2016, after spending over a decade running, something seemed to be missing from Lija’s regular running routine. With some gentle nudges from the Lancaster yoga community, Lija discovered that she can, in fact, be still at times, and began practicing yoga and immediately fell in love. Subsequently, she embarked on a yoga teacher training journey and completed her RYT-500 certification as well as an additional program facilitator training. With an emphasis on the physical and mental needs of athletes, Lija strives to help her students re-remember the power of play and of listening - to their bodies, themselves, and their voices. A teacher at heart, Lija also has an M. Ed in English Education and is nearly finished with an M. Ed in Educational Leadership. When she isn’t teaching, Lija is with her family, outdoors, and out of the country as much as possible - exploring, hiking, rock climbing, swimming, and eating all of the carbs. She feels most alive when she is sharing that adventurous spirit with others; Lija says, “What I love most in this life is helping people discover that things that once felt impossible are possible.”
Alax Kemp
Alax got her 200hr YTT in Hawaii in 2012. For the many years in between then and now she has been teaching free-lance style community classes all over Lancaster. You can find her teaching now every Sunday at 9:30am at West Art. Other than Yoga, Alax works full time at Lancaster Distilleries in Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse. Life is about balance, right? Outside of yoga and work you might find her at the movies watching the newest A24 film, running or hiking with her dogs Charlie & Penny, or climbing on rocks with her friends. "I feel best when I'm taking care of my body and want to spread the love of movement with the community around me whether that be in Lancaster or wherever I can travel."
Join Alax for Yoga! A 60-minute, all-levels vinyasa class designed to connect breath with movement in a way that is both grounding and uplifting. Set to a thoughtfully curated mix of indie-folk, ambient, and downtempo tunes, we will move through a fluid, creative sequence that emphasizes hip-opening and heart-opening, leaving you feeling both challenged and restored. This class focuses on building internal heat through playful, non-traditional sequences. Expect unexpected transitions, arm balances, and creative sequencing that makes every move feel like a dance. Let the music guide you into a meditative state of "flowmotion," where you can release the thinking mind and simply feel your body move.

High Times Band (formerly High Tied Sideshow) is a Grateful Dead Tribute band from South Central PA and has been playing music for over a decade. From weddings to festivals to local bars, you’re in for a high time!
Friday, July 31: Dave Wilson Quartet (Contemporary Jazz)
The Dave Wilson Quartet is a Contemporary Jazz group led by the noted tenor/soprano saxophonist, educator, and composer to further and bring to fruition the music and vision of Dave Wilson, the artist. Defying categorization, the music is "what sounds good and can communicate with the audience on a deep level...it's jazz". Dave Wilson offers high caliber, compelling, contemporary live performances, featuring top notch nationally/internationally or regionally known personnel known for their exciting improvisations, creative individualistic compositions, and unique arrangements of standards.
Dave Wilson has seven recordings under his own name, (plus an eighth When Even Goes East on the way in January of 2026), all of which have received national airplay and positive reviews from leading jazz publications. Their fourth CD There Was Never (ZOHO Music, 2016), reached a high of #18 in the nationwide Jazz Weekly Jazz Radio Countdown, had a great review in Downbeat Magazine, and was placed in nomination for a Grammy in 2016. The fifth One Night at Chris’ was released in the summer of 2019, achieved “Chartbound” status (Top 50) on jazz radio, and garnered positive reviews. Our 6th recording, released 1/7/2022, titled Stretching Supreme (Dave Wilson Music)is a tribute to John Coltrane. It reached a high of #31 in the Jazz Weekly Live Radio charts, and garnered impressive reviews, among them.
Beyond performances, Dave Wilson is also passionate about fostering the next generation of jazz musicians. He hosts the Shirt Factory Jazz Jam Session in Lititz, PA, on the first Sunday of every month, where young musicians—college and high school students alike—come together to play and grow.

Stogie Wagon is an outlaw country and honky-tonk band that brings the essence of vintage country music to the stage. Playing original tunes and hits spanning the decades, they channel the legends of the past while blazing their own trail through smoky barrooms, roadhouses, and clubs.
Friday, Sept 25: Kyle Hancock Trio (Jazz)
The Kyle Hancock Trio is a guitar driven jazz group from right here in Lancaster. Featuring top players in the area, the trio puts a fresh spin on classics ranging from tunes out of the great American songbook, to modern radio hits. Kyle Hancock is a guitarist in the Central Pennsylvania area. You can find him performing as a soloist, bandleader, and sideman. In addition to performing, Kyle is also a music teacher. This is a live experience you do not want to miss!

On-site Parking at Conestoga House & Gardens
GPS will have you arrive at our iron gates, however we only open those for private events. Please enter off the River Drive entrance. Respectfully, we ask that you park on site. Please DO NOT park on the grass on River Drive.

Upon your arrival, please enter the driveway off River Drive. You may park in the stone courtyard or along the garages.

Property Guidelines & Policies
To ensure the greatest experience for all of our guests, we ask that you please abide by the following guidelines and policies. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact our team and we will be happy to discuss them with you.
We reserve the right to limit capacity, refuse access and/or revoke access to any group or individual that fails to comply with these rules, is being disruptive to other guests or displays illegal, unsafe or offensive behavior. Only service animals are permitted on property and should remain on a leash or harness at all times while onsite.
The gardens may be closed due to severe inclement weather. If you have purchased tickets for a day that the gardens have been closed, please contact us for assistance.
Please refrain from bringing the following items on property:

Large coolers
Weapons of any kind
Any illegal substance
Kegs or half kegs
Tables
Portable audio systems
Recreational devices such as scooters, skateboards, drones
