Conestoga House & Gardens offers a stunning backdrop for photoshoots set among historic architecture, landscaped gardens, and scenic views in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The estate provides a timeless setting for capturing meaningful moments and creative projects alike.
Whether you’re planning an engagement session, birthday photoshoot, milestone celebration, or professional photography experience, the property offers a variety of picturesque locations throughout the grounds. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens and select areas of the estate during their scheduled session, allowing for a relaxed and inspiring photoshoot experience.
Designed to preserve the beauty and integrity of the property, photoshoots at Conestoga House & Gardens provide a unique opportunity to create lasting images in one of Lancaster’s most iconic historic settings. Seasonal availability and booking details will be shared as sessions open for the year.

All photoshoot sessions must email a copy of the Photography Release of Liability Form to info@ecklinevents.com prior to the session.
Rescheduling
Booking fees are non-refundable but may be rescheduled to another available date/time if there are weather concerns (based on availability at the time of reschedule request).
Release of Liability
All photographers are required to complete and submit a PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE OF LIABILITY & TERMS OF USE BOOKING AGREEMENT prior to booking time. Available as a PDF below.
Parking
Your group may park on the driveway in front of the garages or along River Dr (in the grass) during your visit but please limit the number of vehicles to 5.
Inclement Weather
Your safety is our priority but if you choose to shoot with impending inclement weather, you do so at your own risk. If you decide to reschedule your session due to weather, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every attempt to find another date/time that will work for your party. Refunds are not given for cancellations due to inclement weather.
Timing
You may not arrive or invite guests to arrive before your session "Start Time" and all guests must leave by your session "End Time" (unless we otherwise agree in writing). If you arrive onsite more than 15 minutes before the agreed upon start time and/or stay more than 15 minutes past your agreed upon end time, you will incur additional charges beginning at $20.00 per 15 minutes for the first hour and $25.00 per 15 minutes beyond that.
Booking Policies
Non-Exclusive
This is not an exclusive booking and other parties may be onsite.
Accessibile Locations
With your booking, you have access to all exterior gardens, the Orangery and the restrooms. All of the following locations/spaces are restricted. Please ensure your guests do not access any of the following or you may be asked to end your shoot without refund.
Restricted Locations:
Greenhouses, garage/stables, mansion
All bodies of water including pool
Flower beds and garden displays
Property Guidelines
Please respect the gardens and remove anything you brought onsite with you upon your departure.
You are responsible for all attendees in your group, please ensure they are aware of all rules.
No smoking is allowed on the grounds
Music is to be kept at reasonable levels.
No pets allowed.
All small and/or hard to clean material (confetti, etc.) require prior approval.
