LIVE MUSICAL GUESTS
Thursday, May 14: Luke Cagno
Luke Cagno is a solo artist from Lancaster, PA. Creating music gives an outlet to expressing feelings that words sometimes simply cannot describe.
Thursday, June 11: Ben Pierson
Ben Pierson is a singer/songwriter residing in the Lititz area. He has been playing solo and in various bands since he was a student at Millersville University in 1998. Ben has spent the past 10 years singing and playing in the local cover bands Ghost Light Radio Show and Sound Method. He is most excited about his newest endeavor, writing and recording original material for his rock band Flight Killer. Ben’s music as a solo performer is influenced by a wide variety of artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Matt Nathanson, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Ben has a self-produced album available called So Far To Here.
Thursday, July 9: Ian Carroll
Ian keeps himself fed and housed by playing music as a busker and performing gigs in and around South Central PA and the Baltimore area. A one-man band, Ian plays fiddle or Viola, seated clogging/foot percussion, and sings a bit too. Also active in various groups in the region, such as “The Part Time Managers “, “RJ Reynolds and the Second Hand Folk”, “Snack Club”, and the “Patrick Players”.
Thursday, August 13: Jackson Houston
Jackson was a choir and band kid from day one. With encouraging teachers, parents with classic rock always playing on the radio, a sister blasting punk rock from the room next door, and friends with a myriad of musical tastes, a broad appreciation of music formed. This can be heard in the wide variety of reinvented covers from the moody soul of Hozier to the timeless poetry of Bob Dylan—and even a surprise or two like ABBA or Whitney Houston. Inspiration for songwriting has come strongly from singer/songwriters such as John Prine, John Craigie, and Noah Kahan. Though all music has been influential, Folk and Americana seem to have taken root at the core of Jackson's music.
Thursday, September 10: Woodson Steel Experience
Matthew Woodson, based in Lancaster PA, is a versatile musician specializing in steelpan Caribbean music and percussion performance. Matthew is available for solo or ensemble work for all occasions. Matt's music is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
