Stevens School Ballroom is part of the historic Stevens School building, one of downtown Lancaster’s most recognizable architectural landmarks. Constructed during a period of growth and civic pride in Lancaster, the building was originally established as an all-girls school, reflecting the city’s commitment to education and community development. Designed with intention and craftsmanship, the structure incorporated architectural influences from the Italian Renaissance, Beaux-Arts, and Greek Classical traditions—styles known for their symmetry, elegance, and enduring beauty.
At the heart of the building, the ballroom was created as a central gathering space where students and guests could come together for formal events and important occasions. Its grand scale and refined architectural detailing made it one of the most remarkable interior spaces in the building, showcasing the level of care and permanence that defined the original construction.

Exclusive use of venue; reception only.
Up to 8 hours of property access on the day of your event*
Access to kitchen facilities for approved caterers
Onsite parking for up to 10 vehicles with prior approval
*This booking permits 8 total hours on the property - encompassing setup, event, and strike time. All events must end by 10:00PM with strike/cleanup completed by 11:00PM.

The Stevens School Ballroom
Payment & Rental Terms
Half of the package price is due at the time of booking.
Remaining balance and $1,000 security deposit are required one month prior to the event date.
Additional hours may be booked at $500 per hour.
Important Notes
Rates may change at any time.
Availability may be limited due to property refurbishments or community offerings and may change at the discretion of the Ecklin team.
Rental agreements include entry to the Ballroom, restrooms, and finishing kitchen. Access to any other interior locations is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to private residences, common areas, and storage facilities.
Noise levels must remain below 75 dB and music must end by 10 PM.
No smoking is permitted on the property.
